After Odalia talks about not caring what Belos does with their products and keeping Belos' favor in order to live like royalty, Alador turns the abomatons on her and a fight ensues. Once Odalia turns the abomatons on the group, Amity furiously tells her that she's never speaking to her again. Odalia dismissively says that she's doing what's best for the family, only for Alador to knock out and power down the abomatons. After Odalia becomes furious that Alador is destroying their life's work, he tells her that he quits, with Odalia retreating while saying that she's been meaning to find a more competent business partner. Afterwards, Alador volunteers to pilot the airship so that the group can rescue Hunter, and apologizes to Luz for Odalia's behavior, telling her that she's always welcome in their home. However, it's then revealed that it was actually Hunter being disguised using an illusion cast by Gus, and that Luz was actually taken by Kikimora to Belos.

At the end of the episode, Amity confronted Luz about her involvement with Belos meeting the Collector and while Luz still felt responsible, Amity assured her that she could never hate Luz, as Luz's selfless actions matter to her more. As they were about to enter the portal, Amity paraphrased what Luz told her in "Knock, Knock, Knocking on Hooty's Door" about how it would be awesome if Luz was in her future. In the beginning of "Thanks to Them", Luz gave Amity a bandage for her hand while Amity stared at her with appreciation. Luz and Amity also worked together to come out to Camila, the latter of which approved of their relationship. Although not outright shown, it is revealed in "Thanks to Them" that while in the Human Realm, Luz did fulfill her promise and take Amity out on dates, as seen in photos inside Willow's scrapbook.

Before the Abomaton can deliver the final blow Amity comes to the rescue destroys her necklace and demands that her mother let her friends back in Hexside or she'll destroy the Abomaton. Odalia reluctantly agrees though she tries to go back on her word but is stopped by Alador who reminds her that Blights always uphold their end of the deal. Shortly thereafter The Golden Guard comes to purchase the Abomatons for Emperor Belos.

After stopping by the Coven Heads and Eda, they fly to help Luz fight Belos, who has taken on a monstrous form. After defeating Belos and have him stop the Draining Spell, he deconstructs the Head and declares he wishes to play “Owl House”. Amity, Willow, Gus, and Hunter flee through a portal to the Human Realm where they end up stranded after King blasts Luz through the door. After staring at the empty doorway of the Old House, Luz takes her friends to her house where they are greeted by Camila and Vee.
Feeling hurt, Luz tells Eda that she can help with the plan, but Eda stands firm on keeping her safe, leading to them fighting in the warehouse after Eda takes on her harpy form. After being captured by coven scouts, Luz continues to ask Eda why she refuses to let her help with the plan, angrily asking if it's because Eda thinks she's a kid or too weak. Eda says that because she and Lilith have no magic and no allies, she wanted to do everything she could to keep Luz and King safe, but now it's too late for that. As Luz gets taken away, she desperately tells Eda that she'll do whatever she says, only asking that she fights back. Later, Luz is rescued, and is relieved upon finding out that Eda is alright and that a group of rebels has a plan for stopping the Day of Unity. Afterwards, Eda shows Luz that she managed to find the palistrom wood among the items taken from the Owl House, and they start carving Luz's palisman.
As Amity says they will find Eda and King, Hunter says he saw them flying into town. After Amity, Camila, Gus, Willow, and Hunter return to the Demon Realm, they notice Luz is missing and she pulls Luz through the portal just as it closes. As they walk, Amity notices some stray abomination goo and happily controls it. When they see the skull and the ground around it covered in pink mist, Camila panics and puts herself in front of the minds to protect them. However, they tell her the skill is normal but the mist is not and they continue on.
A few days before the Day of Unity, Amity and the other students of Hexside are called to the gym for an emergency assembly. They are told by Adrian Gray Vernworth, the head of the Illusion Coven, that all young witches must be placed in a Coven before the Day of Unity, but claims he insists he wants to put temporary fake sigils on the student as Edric is brought forward for a demonstration. Eventually, as their friendship grew, Amity would develop a strong crush on Luz, being enamored by the human's unwavering kindness and empathetic nature. However, due to her lack of experience with romantic attractions, this crush would often manifest in the form of extreme nervousness, clumsiness, and spontaneous blushing when she found herself in Luz's presence.
When Amity and her friends have an Moonlight Conjuring and invite everyone except Willow, Luz, Willow and Gus decide to have one at the Owl House, taking advantage of Eda and King's absence that night. Before leaving, Eda asks Luz to take care of the house, warning her before leaving that if anything happens to the house, she will never trust her again. They soon realize that they can control the house thanks to the power of the moon, and decide to take the house on a joyride instead of returning it to its place to show off to Amity. On the way, they meet Boscha, one of Amity's friends, and begin to bother her without Boscha realizing it was them.
After thinking for a bit, she decides to go, using magic to alter her voice into Alador's and ordering the Abomaton to go to the Night Market to find a rare emerald dagger. Amity insists that she cannot let Alador find out about her ditching the coven tryout until she wins the belt, and Luz proceeds to assure her that she has got her back. In season two, Kikimora shows more of her ruthless side as she uses her dragon in an attempt to murder Hunter and take credit for his mission of retrieving palismen. However, upon hearing that she might acquire a long-coveted promotion, she turns on them.
Unfortunately, however, since Luz failed to recognize her deepest desire, the egg would not hatch for months following its carving. This would serve to worsen Luz's newfound guilt-ridden and depressed personality upon returning to the Human Realm, believing that her own flaws had forsaken Stringbean's chances of hatching, worsening her sense of self-worthlessness. Fortunately, however, after returning to the Demon Realm and sharing a heart-to-heart discussion with her mother, Luz was finally able to realize that her heart's greatest wish was to finally be understood by others.
